Job Shadowing

Have you thought about a career in healthcare? Job shadowing helps you explore your options. Spend time observing healthcare professionals at their job. Healthcare is experiencing workforce shortages. It is projected that 1/3 of all new jobs created in the U.S. will be in healthcare and the lowest rates of unemployment can be found in healthcare. Opportunities to shadow in specific specialties may be available upon request. To be considered for a Job Shadow you must complete “Confidentiality and HIPAA Training” and “Job Shadow Authorization to Participate”, and you must have a current flu shot. Completed packets can be mailed, faxed, or emailed to the following: Nebraska Panhandle AHEC 2620 College Park Scottsbluff, NE 69361 -Mailing Address; (308) 635-6711– Phone; (308) 632-0415 – Fax; – Email. Upon receipt of your completed package, you will be scheduled for a shadowing experience. Informational Brochure.
